Mrs. Mayes
Hello, my name is Jessica Mayes and I am looking forward to being your first grade teacher and going on this adventure together! We are going to have a wonderful year learning about Jesus, math, reading, science, and history.
I graduated from Kenton High School in 2018. I earned my bachelor's degree in early childhood education from The Ohio State University in 2022. This will be my third year teaching first grade and my first year at St. Charles.
I recently got married this past June to my husband Cole. I have a very big family that consist of 8 siblings total. I have 6 brothers and 2 sisters along with 7 nieces and 6 nephews. I moved to the Lima area this summer and enjoy going to local coffee shops and spending time with family and friends.
